The shared category
Both fit a conventional peptide-serum comparison rather than a copper-specific one. The checked lists contain Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1; neither lists Copper Tripeptide-1. The Ordinary also names Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3.
A shared peptide does not make the formulas identical. Botanical blends, solvents and scent ingredients change the product being purchased. Ingredient counts also do not establish a treatment ranking.
The main preference trade-off
The checked TYPEBEA formula contains ethanol, parfum and aromatic oils. The Ordinary’s checked list is alcohol-free and has no added parfum. If you avoid those ingredients, the choice can be narrowed before comparing broad performance claims.
If scent is part of what you enjoy in a product, the premium may be a personal preference. We have not applied either serum, so cannot describe a tested difference in feel, absorption or residue.
Our decision rule
Begin with The Ordinary as the cost reference and identify the specific reason you would pay more for G1. Confirm the regional pack size and exact formula before comparing unit value. A premium bottle and ingredient-level claims alone are not evidence of superior regrowth.
